Fall & Winter Programming

Come connect with us & make a friend!

From thrilling games and nature-based arts & crafts sessions to silly movement activities and story time, we are all about embodying joy and creating space for kiddos to be themselves and find connection!

We will be offering a caregiver support group during youth activities.  The group will mostly be peer-led with some facilitation.  Caregiver participation in the support group is totally optional, however caregivers/accompanying adults are required to be present for the duration of the event with their kiddo(s).

Who We Are

Gem Mahusay (they/them)

Co-Director

Kristian Gambardella, MSW (he/him)

Co-Director

Gem & Kristian met while working at a summer camp for trans youth in 2023. They quickly realized they were a complimentary duo with a shared dream – create spaces for gender diverse youth to play, create, and connect & nourish community building for trans families. Together they bring breadth and depth of experience working with and supporting the well-being of children & families.

Want to expand Caterpillar Club’s vision?

Co-creating diverse spaces means that everyone is welcome & valued regardless of ability to donate. Donations make our hosting activities possible & support our goals to expand offerings for caregivers. If each event raised $500 it would support us to sustain and grow our community ecosystem.

Make a donation to support our work of creating spaces for gender diverse youth and families to play, connect & explore.

We acknowledge that we live, work, love, learn and play on unceded Lisjan Ohlone territory. We are committed to supporting the vital work of the Sogorea Te’ Land Trust and will be making annual Shuumi contributions. If you have the ability, this is an invitation to calculate your Shuumi and consider directly supporting Sogorea Te’s work of rematriation.
